OVER SIX THOUSAND PROSPECTIVE BENEFICIARIES SEEK NDDC FOREIGN POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

Over six thousand prospective beneficiaries of Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC Foreign Postgraduates Scholarship, are taking part in the ongoing Computer Based Test CBT.

Speaking at the Center in Rivers State University, Director Education, Health and Social Services, EHSS, NDDC, Dr. Patience Ezugwu described the programme as deliberate move by the Interventionist Agency to secure a veritable future for youths of Niger Delta Region.

Speaking about the process of selection, the Consultant Chief Godson Ideozu insisted that it would be based on merit as candidates know their scores at the end of their exam as generated automatically by the system.

Chief Ideozu explained that about sixteen thousand applications were received from where over six thousand were shortlisted for the CBT.

Two of the participants, Victor Diekedie and Esther Ndukwe while assessing the programme, acknowledged that it was free and credible.

They appreciated NDDC for the gesture saying it has been helpful and strategic.

The exam will lasted for four days as shortlisted candidates from mandate states participate in batches.
