Residents of Port Harcourt and surrounding communities now have access to expanded healthcare services following the commissioning of the Neuropsychiatric and General Hospital Complex in Rumuigbo.
Built by MCC Nigeria Limited and commissioned by the Rivers State Government under Governor Siminalayi Fubara, the facility combines general medical services with specialised mental healthcare in a modern hospital environment.
The complex is fitted with a range of medical equipment, including advanced surgical and operating theatre facilities, anaesthesia machines, patient monitoring systems, suction equipment and specialised neonatal care equipment.
Beyond its medical infrastructure, the hospital provides modern wards, diagnostic and treatment areas, as well as dedicated mental health and therapeutic spaces.
The facility underscores the growing focus on modern healthcare infrastructure and improved access to quality medical services for residents of Rivers State.
